Soul Barre' Method: Trauma-Informed Barre' Teacher Training – Terms & Conditions
By enrolling in the Soul Barre' Method Trauma-Informed Barre' Teacher Training hosted by Nurtured Soul Studios, you (“Participant”) agree to the following Terms & Conditions, which form a legally binding agreement. These terms are in addition to the general policies listed at www.therachellee.com/terms-policies.
Training Dates & Attendance
Training takes place in person at Nurtured Soul Studios, Crystal Lake, IL on the following dates:

Monday evenings (7:00 PM – 9:00 PM): October 27, November 17, December 15, 2025

Thursday evening (7:00 PM – 9:00 PM): October 30, 2025
-
Sundays (10:00 AM – 4:00 PM): November 2, November 23, December 7, December 21, December 28, 2025.
Total Hours: 33
Certification will only be awarded upon completion of all requirements:

Full attendance at all scheduled sessions

Active participation in coursework, practicum, and assignments
-
Successful completion of the written exam and teaching practicum
-
Completion of all deliverables
-
Tuition and fees paid in full
Nurtured Soul Studios reserves the right to withhold certification for incomplete attendance, unpaid balances, failure to meet conduct standards, or incomplete coursework. Completion of this training does not guarantee employment or teaching opportunities with Nurtured Soul Studios.
Payment Policies

Tuition must be paid in full by the agreed due date.

Payment Plans: By selecting a plan, Participant authorizes Nurtured Soul Studios to automatically charge the payment method on file according to the agreed schedule.

Participant is responsible for maintaining valid payment information. Failed, expired, or declined cards do not release Participant from payment obligations.

A late fee of 11% will be applied to any overdue balance more than 7 calendar days past due.

Nurtured Soul Studios reserves the right to accelerate the full outstanding balance if Participant defaults on a payment plan.

Default & Collections: Unpaid balances may be referred to a collections agency. Participant agrees to pay all collection costs, attorney’s fees, and court costs incurred.

Certification will not be issued until all tuition, late fees, and collection costs are paid in full.

All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Refund & Transfer Policy

All sales are final. No refunds will be granted under any circumstances.

In the event of a verifiable emergency, Participant may request to defer enrollment to a future training cohort. Requests must be submitted in writing and are subject to approval at the sole discretion of Nurtured Soul Studios.

Approved transfers must be used within 12 months of the original training date.

Withdrawals, no-shows, late arrivals, or early departures are considered forfeitures of tuition without credit, refund, or transfer.
Cancellation by Studio
If Nurtured Soul Studios cancels or reschedules the training, Participants will be offered a transfer to a future training date or a credit toward another program. Nurtured Soul Studios reserves the right to modify the schedule, instructors, or curriculum at its discretion.
Health & Medical Disclaimer
Participant affirms that they are in good physical and mental health to participate in this program. Participant understands it is their responsibility to consult with a physician before beginning the training and to disclose any pre-existing medical conditions, injuries, or limitations that may affect participation.
Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver
Participant acknowledges that movement practices involve inherent risks, including but not limited to injury, illness, or property damage. By enrolling, Participant voluntarily assumes all risks and releases Nurtured Soul Studios, Rachel Lee Inc., and affiliated instructors from any liability for injuries, losses, or damages arising from participation.
Indemnification
Participant agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Nurtured Soul Studios, Rachel Lee Inc., its owners, faculty, and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from their own actions, negligence, or participation in the training.
Code of Conduct
Participants are expected to uphold the integrity of the Soul Barre' Method and the values of Nurtured Soul Studios, including:

Respectful communication with faculty and peers

Professional, ethical, and emotionally responsible behavior

Confidentiality of personal shares and practicum experiences
Violation of these standards may result in immediate dismissal without refund or certification.
Intellectual Property & Confidentiality
All training content, including manuals, sequences, cueing, and materials, are the sole intellectual property of Nurtured Soul Studios and Rachel Lee Inc. Materials are for personal educational use only. Participant may not reproduce, distribute, share, or use training materials to create derivative works or to train others without prior written consent.
Media & Recording Consent
Photos, videos, and/or audio may be captured during training for educational and promotional use. By enrolling, Participant grants permission for their image, likeness, and voice to be used unless a written exemption request is submitted prior to the first day of training.
Non-Disparagement
Participant agrees not to make any false, harmful, or disparaging statements whether written, spoken, or posted online, about Nurtured Soul Studios, Rachel Lee Inc., or affiliated instructors. Breach of this clause may result in legal action.
Force Majeure
Nurtured Soul Studios shall not be held liable for cancellations, delays, or modifications due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government orders, power outages, or illness of instructors. In such cases, training will be rescheduled or credit will be provided. No refunds will be issued.
Legal Terms

Electronic Consent: Registration and digital acceptance of these terms constitute a legally binding signature.

Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain valid and enforceable.

Governing Law: This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in McHenry County, Illinois.

Entire Agreement: This document, together with the general terms at www.therachellee.com/terms-policies, constitutes the entire agreement between Participant and Nurtured Soul Studios.
